The service
Visibility Score ("the Service") is a website scanning and reporting tool operated by Jeff Brook, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. The Service analyses publicly accessible websites and produces structural readiness scores and reports for AI visibility.
By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Free scan
The free scan is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy, but free scan results are indicative and are not guaranteed. The free scan may be subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
Paid reports
When you purchase a report:
- Your report will be delivered to the email address you provide within 24 hours of successful payment.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Each purchase covers one report for one URL at the time of purchase.
Refund policy
If your paid report is not delivered within 24 hours of purchase, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact [email protected] with your purchase details.
You may also request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the report was not delivered. Once a report has been delivered, refunds are at our discretion, because the digital product has been fully provided.
This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
What the scores mean
Visibility Score measures structural readiness — whether your website is technically configured for AI systems to find, understand, and interact with it. The scores are structural assessments based on automated checks.
The scores do not guarantee that AI systems will cite, recommend, or interact with your website. AI visibility also depends on factors outside our measurement, including your reputation, content quality, and the behaviour of third-party AI systems which we do not control.
Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree to:
- Only scan websites you have permission to audit. You may scan your own website, your clients' websites with their consent, and publicly accessible competitor websites for benchmarking purposes.
- Respect rate limits. Automated or bulk scanning beyond reasonable use is prohibited. If you need high-volume scanning, contact us about the Agency plan.
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the scanning methodology beyond what is published in our research articles.
- Not use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.
- Not submit malicious URLs designed to attack our infrastructure.
We reserve the right to block access to the Service for any user who violates these terms.
Intellectual property
The scanning methodology, scoring algorithms, website content, and brand are the intellectual property of Jeff Brook / Visibility Score. Your reports are yours to use and share as you see fit, including sharing with clients and web developers.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific report in question.
- We are not liable for actions you take based on your scores or report recommendations.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
